If your score on a scale is 1-3, you are fairly well balanced on the two dimensions of that scale.
If your score on a scale is 5-7, you have a moderate preference for one dimension of the scale and will learn more easily in a teaching environment which favors that dimension.
If your score on a scale is 9-11, you have a very strong preference for one dimension of the scale. You may have real difficulty learning in an environment which does not support that preference.

Q-What is your learning style? What sorts of learning experiences would suit you best with your learning style

Hmmmm...from the above results it looks like I am an active learner, who has got a mix of verbal and visual learning styles which sort of gells in as I want to get on with it once I have got the facts.

Being a visual learner/verbal learner a good mix of audio visual tools-diagrams,graphs would help me in leraning faster. Colour coding is something that I can relate with and easily associate.

Q-In a traditional classroom of 25 students, how would you support the range of learning styles each lesson?

each and every individual is different and it is not an easy task to accomodate everybody's learning style. The best way to go about it is to develop a generic way of teaching which encompasses the different sorts of learning styles in one way or another. I have to be having a mix of different styles of learning so as to cater to their needs ranging from visual aids like maps, diagrams to written parts, handouts., giving them problem solving exercises, having a healthy discussion in the classroom etc.

Q-with your current knowledge of ICT, how could your design and digital pedagogy support your learners better?

I need to support the learning needs of my students by engaging them more in the tools of tomorrow i.e. digital technology. More and more projects involving ICT would be the key to help them learn new skills so as to develop their lerning better.

Q-What sorts of profiling questions would you be asking about your learners to ensure you cater for everyone's preferences?

Getting to know them better would be a start to see wheere they are in terms of their learning styles. Maybe scaffolding the learning style questionnaire to find out what are the differnt learning styles prevalent in the class and design the study material to cater for those needs.

Q-How does ICT support differences in learning styles?

I feel that ICT is a formidable tool in catering to varying needs of students in the class. It helps to first of all find the differnt types of learning styles and then with various forms of aids like visual, oratory, online learning, social groups coming together helps in encompassing the different learning styles. Different individuals with their varied learning experiences coming together help in enriching the knowledge of the group.
